Expectations, Onboarding, 
& Next Steps

Once you are hired, you'll receive onboarding training from People and Culture. (Pro Tip: Bookmark this page to refer back to oftendon't forget your perks!)

Next, you should expect to meet with your new supervisor and other individuals on your team or those who you will be working with frequently. 

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your supervisor or to People and Culture.

What to Expect from your supervisor

As a new part-time employee, you can expect the following from your supervisor during the onboarding process:

Warm Welcome!
Your supervisor will schedule a meeting to introduce themselves, make you feel comfortable, and provide an overview of the work environment.
Clear Communication: Your supervisor will communicate your role, responsibilities, and any expectations clearly, ensuring you have a solid understanding of what is expected from you.
 
Guidance on Policies and Procedures: Your supervisor will provide you with information on company policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to your position. They will answer your questions and provide any necessary resources.
 
 
 
 
Training and Support: Your supervisor will provide you with the training and resources necessary for you to excel in your role. They will ensure you have the tools and knowledge to perform your tasks efficiently and effectively.
Introduction to the Team: Your supervisor will introduce you to your colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting teamwork. They will encourage open communication and collaboration.
Ongoing Feedback and Support: Your supervisor will establish a feedback system, offering regular check-ins to provide constructive feedback, address any concerns, and support your professional growth.
Career Development Guidance: Your supervisor will guide you in setting goals and offer opportunities for career development.
