Nondiscrimination Statement

Utah Valley University (UVU) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, childbirth, pregnancy-related conditions, genetic information, or any other bases protected by UVU policy, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (34 C.F.R. The Equity and Title IX Office responds to reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including those based on sex or disability. These matters are addressed through UVU’s grievance procedures, which provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints, as outlined in UVU Policy 162 (Title IX Sexual Harassment)andUVU Policy 165 (Discrimination and Harassment).
