If I don’t qualify or if I'm not accepted through SSS, can I still get support?

The TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) offers support similar to the SSS program without needing to fill out an application. The EOC is our sister program and can help you I you are not admitted into SSS.

Yes. The Student Support Services Scholarship (link to page) is always open to TRIO SSS students. You may reapply for the scholarship even if you have previously received the scholarship.

Your first appointment with an advisor needs to be completed within the first two weeks after being admitted into the SSS program. After your initial appointment, you will need to meet with an advisor at least once per semester and as-needed.

What if I’m not a current UVU student or enrolled right now?
