Not sure where to get started? Our Life Fitness Circuit Series is beginner-friendly and designed to eliminate workout intimidation for novice strength equipment users. Equipment requires no set-up adjustments and provides consistent and low resistance levels to gently introduce users to weight training.
The ten individual strength machines in the Circuit Series use the Lifeband Resistance System, which features smaller increment resistance adjustments chosen by a push-button control system.
The SLWC’s free weights include pieces from Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. Most free-weight equipment is located on the fourth floor with a small dumbbell section on the third floor.

Cardio equipment from the Life Fitness Discovery SE series and Hammer Strength are on the third and fourth floors.
Three courts are located on the third floor in SL 302. Each court has hardwood floors and is lined for basketball and volleyball. Scheduled events take priority over open recreation.

Our studios on the third floor are free to use by members unless scheduled for fitness classes or other events. Four rooms have hardwood floors and mirrors and one room is set up for spin. Use of equipment is through supervised classes, and all equipment must remain in the room.
The Multi Activity Court (MAC Court) is lined for a variety of sports, with some lines shared with other courts:
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously.
Dependents 16 years and older may use all SLWC facilities without supervision. Dependents 15 years or younger must be accompanied by a SLWC member who is a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian but can use any of our facilities.
Dependents under 10 years old may use the basketball courts, MAC courts, and track but are restricted from the following areas even if they are accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian:
