Summary
Policies 162, 165, and 168 were revised last year using the Temporary Emergency policy process to comply with federal and state legislation regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. In accordance with the University's policy approval processes, the above drafts contain these compliance revisions for review through the Regular policy process, in addition to supplemental revisions made to streamline and standardize processes, provide clarity, and improve readability.

Summary
The revisions to this policy clarify
- That Faculty Senate makes recommendations for RTP criteria related to tenure and will strive to review 20 percent of department RTP criteria per year.
- That faculty will be evaluated for tenure under the RTP criteria in effect when they were hired.
- What happens if faculty do not provide a binder for tenure review.
