CANADA Consul General Sylvain FABI Sylvain Fabi (BBA, Bishop’s University, 1988) joined the Consulate General of Canada in Denver in October 2020. As Canada's Consul General in the U.S. Mountain West Region, Mr. Fabi oversees a team of 17 people who work within Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Utah and Wyoming to strengthen trade and economic ties; enhance political, academic and cultural links; and assist Canadians visiting or living in the five-state territory. He is also Canada’s chief negotiator for the modernization of the Columbia River Treaty with the United States. |

CZECH REPUBLIC Consul General Jaroslav Olša Amb. Jaroslav Olša Jr. studied Arabic, Asian and African studies at Charles University in Prague, and International Relations and Comparative European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. He is also the author of multiple books and articles on the history, culture, and literature of Asia and Africa, and historical relations of the non-European countries with the Czech Lands. He has also published widely about science fiction and edited over a dozen anthologies of Czech and International science fiction. He has also curated art exhibitions, was a member of the Jury of 2011 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, as well as initiating numerous cultural exchanges and activities. |

GEORGIA Consul General Levan Beridze Levan Beridze was appointed as the Consul General of Georgia in San Francisco in February
2020. Throughout his career in the foreign service he held the position of the Ambassador
at Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, served in the position of
Counselor at the Embassy of Georgia to the United States since 2016, where he headed
up the Economic Section and earlier was the First Secretary at the Embassy from 2012
to 2016. In his work, Levan Beridze focused on the enhancement and deepening of economic
and trade relations between the United States and Georgia and the creation of a platform
for interaction between the US and Georgian companies. |

He has worked at the Mission of Peru to the European Union, at the Embassy of Peru in Belgium (2000-2006), and Counselor and Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Peru in Argentina (2009-2014). In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he held several positions, including Third Secretary at the South American Department and MERCOSUR; First Secretary and Head of Chile Division of the South American Department; and was Adviser to the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. |
