Please be aware that the First-Year Advising Center does not advise for pre-professional (pre-med, pre-nursing, pre-dental, etc.) programs. If you are interested in a pre-professional program, please visit the PPAC website to schedule an appointment with a pre-professional counselor.

Additionally, the First-Year Advising Center does not advise for the following programs (please follow these links to schedule an appointment with an advisor in your area of interest): Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Aviation, Fire-related programs, Pre-Forensic Science,ASL and Deaf Studies.

Students enrolling in a fully online program are assigned an advisor with the department of their chosen major. If you are a fully online student, you can find your advisor information on your students homepage in myUVU

Not sure who your advisor is? Log in to myUVU, select the “Students” tab (if not already selected), and scroll down until you see a section titled "My Major." Within that section you will see “Primary Advisor” which will include the name and contact information of your assigned advisor, and will also include a link to schedule an appointment to meet with them.
