MYERS-BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR (MBTI):
This assessment identifies your personality type, along with the most popular job
families and occupations for your preferred type. It will also give you a description
of your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to occupations and interpersonal relationships.

-To review your results, you must schedule an appointment with the advising center by calling 801-863-8425
-Assessment needs to be taken before your scheduled appointment
-This assessment is $15.00 for non-UVU students
STRONG INTEREST INVENTORY (SII):
This interest only assessment shows your interests across six General Occupational
Theme areas (REALISTIC, INVESTIGATIVE, ARTISTIC, SOCIAL, ENTERPRISING, and CONVENTIONAL).
Careers are suggested based on your overall interests.

SLSS 2100 Major & Career Exploration:
This class is for students who are undecided about their major or career goals. It
provides students with the opportunity to interact with career professionals; understand
how to access internship, career preparation, and placement resources at UVU; and
integrates understanding of self with knowledge of majors, careers, and the world
of work. Utilizes an appropriate decision making model to identify possible major
and career choices.
