The program is free to all UB students and includes a month of programming, an academic expedition, and the opportunity to earn up to 7 college credits.
Upward Bound students earn a stipend for their participation in the program. To receive the stipend, students must submit the Stipend Payment Form outlining their current academic progress and signed by the student’s teachers and academic advisor.
Stipend Payment Forms must be submitted by the 15th of each month to your UB advisor. Stipends are issued as a check made out to the participant. Students must be considered enrolled when stipends are issued to receive their stipend check.
