The TRIO Upward Bound program prepares high school students for higher education through our programming during the academic year and over the summer. Upward Bound offers mentoring, workshops, a monthly stipend, and more supports for low income and first-generation students.
Upward Bound serves low-income students and/or first-generation students (neither parent has obtained a four-year degree in the U.S.) You are eligible to participate if you meet the following Upward Bound program requirements:
As you fill out the online application, you will need to provide supporting materials to confirm you qualify for Upward Bound.
Make sure that your name is part of the file name (ex. jane_doe_transcript.pdf)
Complete the online application and attach the supporting materials as necessary.
Turn in your application, teacher, recommendations, and family’s financial documentation to one of the following:
The UB office will review your application and documents and let you know if you qualify.
