UVU students who are enrolled in classes at the time of the industry certification exam are eligible for 100% reimbursement of the fees for the exams listed on this web page. This does not include any preparation material fees incurred, though all the exams have free preparation options available.
Reimbursements paid will be included on a 1098-T tax form. Note that any requests for reimbursement for exams taken during the academic year 2024-25 must be made by May 15, 2025.
We will reimburse only for exams that were passed, so please ensure you are fully ready to take the exam before scheduling.
File a request for reimbursement using the Reimbursement Request Form. You can submit 1-5 exams at a time on the Microsoft Form Link. Once your submissions are approved by the coordinators of this program, and you have taken all the exams you plan to take, you will be emailed a link to fill out a scholarship form to accept the reimbursement. The scholarship software only accepts one submission per academic year, so we want to be sure you have completed and submitted all desired exams before we move on to the last step of accessing the scholarship portal. Note that if you have an outstanding tuition balance, the reimbursement will pay toward the balance first and any remaining reimbursement amount will be paid to you either through direct deposit (e-refund) or by check, depending on what you signed up for.
