UVU supports breastfeeding mothers, parents, and their families. We know that when moms do better, everyone does better. We believe that breastfeeding mothers should feed their children wherever, whenever, and however they feel comfortable doing so. State law protects breastfeeding, both covered and uncovered, in any place where a woman may lawfully be. If you are ever harassed for breastfeeding on campus or see someone being harassed for breastfeeding, please have them contact Equity and Title IX.

UVU has Mamava lactation pods across campus. These freestanding pods are a private, secure, and dedicated place to breastfeed or pump breastmilk. To access the pods and find locations near you, download the Mamava mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
UVU is home to nine Mamava locations, with seven on the main Orem campus, one on West Campus, and one on Lehi Campus. All Mamava pods are cleaned daily. If any of our lactation pods require maintenance, please fill out the appropriate form.
In addition to the Mamava lactation pods, there are several other rooms and spaces on campus that serve breastfeeding parents.
Lactation pods and breastfeeding rooms are also used by parents who pump breastmilk. Each Mamava pod is equipped with a Symphony PLUS Breast Pump, a hospital-grade multiuser pump. You will need a Symphony Pump Kit to use the Symphony PLUS pump. These kits are available for free in several locations across campus.
Learn more about the Symphony Pump Kit and where you can pick one up on our Breast Pump Kits page.
