The UVU Cheer Team is a highly competitive group of performing athletes that can be seen at UVU Women’s Volleyball , Women’s Basketball , and Men’s Basketball games. At these events you can expect these student leaders to be cheering on their fellow Wolverines, interacting with event attendees, tumbling, and stunting, all while showing enthusiasm and pride in UVU!
The UVU Cheer Team are 2021 NCA Division 1 All-Girl National Champions and have held the title of NCA Division 1 Game Day National Champions since 2022.
Our cheer team enjoys a unique student experience that emphasizes leadership, unity, persistence, and teamwork. With opportunities beyond cheering at athletic events our students leave our program with a resume and the skill sets needed to be successful after college.
In addition, students are eligible to receive a scholarship award based on their participation.
