Summary: UVU Policy 332 Work-at-Home was approved June 11, 2008. Since the policy’s effective
date, our perceptions of how we work, along with the actual ways we perform work,
changed drastically due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The University and leaders received
updated temporary emergency guidelines and education from a People and Culture Remote
Work Committee who formed and addressed pandemic related changes. It is critical to
update the policy to communicate expectations, responsibilities, and minimize risk.
Keeping staff, faculty, teams, and leaders on track will provide a better experience
for everyone in accordance with Exceptional Care, Accountability, and Results.
