Team captain must be a current UVU student taking classes.

Minimum of 50% current UVU students per team: Current UVU students and staff must make up a minimum of 50% of the roster. UVU students must be currently taking classes to count towards this 50%.

Each sport has a required minimum number of players a roster must have to be eligible.

ID numbers entered on imleagues.com will be used to determine a participant’s eligibility.

Eligibility will be checked every game day. Team captains will be notified of non-eligible players.

Non-Student Fee: $35/semester

Each team must have a minimum of 50% current UVU students and staff on the roster. Students must be enrolled in classes to count towards this requirement. UVU alumni, students not currently taking classes, and non-UVU participants cannot take up more than 50% of the roster and must pay the non-student fee.

A forfeit is defined as a team not having the minimum number of players required to play at game time. A forfeit of this nature will count as a loss and result in an automatic 3 for Sportsmanship. (An exception may be made if the opposing team grants a 10-minute grace period, but if there are not enough players after this point, the game results in a forfeit.)

Teams will be allowed two forfeits per season. After one forfeit, a team is no longer eligible for playoffs. A team will be removed from the league once the second forfeit is received.

Teams must be signed in and ready to play at the time of the scheduled contest to avoid penalties. It is suggested that teams arrive at least 15 minutes before game time to allow for parking, signing in, and warming up.

A default is a game that is not played and is recorded as a loss but is not considered a forfeit. Teams are allowed one default per season and must call the Intramural Office before 3pm the day of the game to inform us that they will not be able to field a team for their contest. Additional defaults will be counted as forfeits.

If a default has occurred, the teams involved may still use the site to practice until 15 minutes before the next contest. Intramural Sports staff are not permitted to officiate any practice, scrimmage or contest the teams choose to participate in during that time.
