At Mental Health Services, we provide assessment and treatment for a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, grief, substance abuse, and relationship issues. We offer therapy in a number of formats including: individual therapy, group therapy, and couple’s therapy.
The mission of the intensive English language program at UVU is to help non-native English-speaking students understand and successfully use academic English at an American university. The LEAD program trains UVU students to become leaders within their communities by approaching leadership development as more than simply management. LEAD is a certificate program that focuses on four key areas of personal development: LEARN, ENGAGE, ACQUIRE, DISCOVER. Students can choose to do a one- or two-year distinction track based on their needs and goals. In addition, students can participate in a co-hort with a specific area of focus. Current co-hort offerings include Aviation, I Am First (first generation students), Tech Management, Trailblazer (non-traditional students), and LEAD (on campus student leader).

Employee resource groups (ERGs) provide a forum for employees to meet, support each other, and build a sense of belonging for staff and faculty. The shared goal of ERGs is to promote a culture of respect, inclusion, kindness, and purpose at UVU.
Participation in these groups is entirely voluntary and is employee-led groups. These groups are centered around interests, backgrounds, identities, experiences, and common bonds. Through participation in ERGs, UVU staff and faculty will help foster a positive campus climate by dynamically contributing to UVU’s mission and values. The shared goal of ERGs is to provide a culture of respect, inclusion, kindness, and purpose.
These groups will also support UVU’s efforts in recruiting and retention of those within the UVU community from all different backgrounds and the goal of these groups is to meet the needs of members.

PACE helps its members by providing a unified voice to the administration in all areas that involve PACE members. Examples of such areas include compensation, benefits, leave, working conditions, hiring procedures, Summer University, staff grievances, performance evaluations, UVU policies and procedures, etc. PACE also sponsors programs and activities to promote employee recognition, professional development, and social interaction.
