The greatest attribute for women in this profession is communication skills, which includes the ability to read body language and nonverbal cues, good listening skills, and effective displays of emphasizing fresh ideas to customers. Women in this industry tend to drive a more inclusive way of leading. This approach facilitates collaboration and the cross sharing of information. A woman’s ability to tap into this experience can help navigate complex situations and manage the behaviors and expectations of customers and colleagues. It also helps us identify and connect with others from a place of empathy and understanding.
Graduate school is a pivotal time in a student’s career, and mentoring is among the most significant forces that shape a student’s experience and future career trajectory. This is especially true for women, who often encounter fewer meaningful mentoring opportunities than men. The Woodbury School of Business Women’s Mentoring Program connects graduate students of any gender identity, particularly those students with an interest in advancing women’s opportunities, in a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Mentoring groups meet at least once a month to discuss topics of interest to women in accounting, business and finance including networking, creating a career plan, and achieving a work/life balance.
The Women's Success Center provides support, leadership, coaching, and advocacy for students. The Center works to remove barriers to graduation and navigate the landscape of higher education.

Enrollment is first-come first-serve. Priority enrollment is given to single parents, low-income families and students approaching graduation.
Wee Care tuition is determined on a sliding scale according to the size of your family and your income. Prices range between $2.50 and $6 per hour per child. The enrollment tuition agreement is for the 16-week semester.
Children will go outside every day, weather permitting, and spend 30 minutes twice daily. There are two playgrounds for the children; one for the younger children, the other for older children.
Children participate in growing their own garden. The vegetables grown are often used in the center's food menu.
