Being a first-generation college student comes with unique challenges, but you don't have to navigate them alone. The Hope Scholars Program at the Woodbury School of Business is here to support you every step of the program. This program has two key parts:
One of the notable opportunities is you'll earn a national peer mentoring certification, building skills such as reflective listening, handling tough conversations, and adaptability. As you grow, you might even consider service as a peer mentor for future Hope Scholars.
The Hope Scholars Program isn't just a scholarship — it's a support system designed to help you thrive in college and beyond. Join us, build your skills, and connect with a community that's here to help you succeed!

"The Neal and Sherrie Savage Family Foundation feels honored to be a part of the Hope Scholars Program. University life can be overwhelming and challenging with the best of circumstances. However to add outside influences that make you feel like you don't belong or fit in, can seem unbearable and beat you down. The Hope Scholars Program counters outside negative forces and gives individuals hope for their future. This is essential because everyone needs hope and words of encouragement to uplift and help make dreams come true.
