The Grants for Engaged Learning (GEL) Committee is an advisory committee that reports to Program Director - Undergraduate Research and Creative Work, within the Innovation Academy. With representatives from each of the university's colleges and schools, the council works to guide support, facilitate, and advocate for Faculty research and scholarly activities across campus. The GEL Committee is committed to supporting these efforts and expanding undergraduate research and creative activity at Utah Valley University.

The Scholarly and Creative Activities Committee (SCAC) comprises faculty from all disciplines across Utah Valley University campus. Each individual from every department offers a unique perspective during the review of grant applications. It is imperative to the Undergraduate Research and Creative Works office that each college on campus is represented in grant reviews.
