TRIO Talent Search Application | TRIO ETS

Educational Talent Search applications may be submitted either by completing an online application or by printing out and completing a paper application. Applications are available in both English and Spanish.

**Online Application Instructions**

Student

Complete page 1 & 2. "Click To Sign" for student signature. In the popup window, enter parent or guardian's name and email address. Next, student enters their email address. Follow the instructions and open the email sent to your email address to confirm your signature.

Parent

Open the email sent to your email address from Utah Valley University to complete the Parent Information and "Click To Sign" for parent signature.

TRIO Talent Search Requirements

Eligibility to participate in the Utah Valley University Educational Talent Search program is based on the following requirements:

U.S. citizen or permanent resident
7th – 12th grade student
Enrolled at a participating school
ETS serves select middle and high schools in Heber City, Orem, Provo, and Roosevelt. View all target schools on our About Us page.
Student comes from a low-income family and/or will be a first-generation college student where neither parent or guardian has a bachelor’s degree from the U.S.
Committed to improving their academic skills and striving toward educational success and achievement

Application Process

If you are interested in improving your chances for post-secondary admission and success and believe you may be eligible for the program, fill out the enclosed paperwork and provide the other information requested. If you have any questions, please call the Educational Talent Search Office at (801) 863-8570.

Fill out the application. Online and paper applications are available.
If submitting a paper application, return it to one of the following:
- TRIO Academic Advisor at your school
- Your high school counselor
- TRIO Program office

The TRIO ETS office will review your application and let you know if you qualify.
