Our priorities within Student Affairs are not actionable without thorough assessment and improvement. We rely on feedback from students, faculty, and staff to analyze the impact that Student Affairs programs have on the university.
Student Affairs actively collaborates with Business Information and Research Services (BIRS) to assess the impact of programs, initiatives, and other efforts. This includes use of quantitative data like student retention, persistence, and graduation while accounting for qualitative information like student engagement and student satisfaction.
The fact sheets below, in partnership with internal assessment tools, help Student Affairs identify the impact of our programs and initiatives on our students and areas for future emphasis. Additional public information can be accessed through the BIRS website. For specific inquiries about how Student Affairs assesses its impact on our students, contact Derek Kent at [email protected].
