The Family Science program is committed to UVU’s three core values for student outcomes, namely, providing exceptional care, accountability, and results. Since 2008, we have facilitated community outreach and professional development through a student-led family life education program. Certified faculty supervise student interns each semester as they implement an evidence-based parenting program with families from Utah Valley as well as build community partnerships and donor support.

Julie Nelson is the Program Director and Field Coordinator for all Family Science Internships. Program Managing Director is Traci Day, and the Assistant Managing Director is Annicka Perry. Corinne Pierce serves as Student Staff Support, and Drs. Rachel Arocho and Kaicee Postler serve as FAMS Faculty Representatives.
