The Contracts Office facilitates the signing of all contracts. Per University policy, only University Vice Presidents are authorized to sign contracts on behalf of the University. President's Council may authorize other individuals to sign specific types of contracts in a limited scope. These additional authorizations are tracked and maintained by the Contracts Office.
Any other University employee, including deans, department chairs, directors, etc., are not authorized to sign contracts on behalf of the University. If a vendor is unsure if a University employee has authorization to bind the University via contract, please contact [email protected].
