What is being added in this policy? Since the creation of this policy, advisory boards have been split into two categories: program advisory boards and advancement boards. Revisions to this policy will reflect the following distinction and create separate charters for each:
- Program advisory boards help improve academic programs, connect graduates to employers, and build a program's reputation.
- Advancement boards support finding fundraising resources, providing personal financial support to the University, and encouraging others to make financial contributions.

What are the revisions to the policy? The length of time for a tenure or promotion review will be lengthened and written as a guideline but not included in the policy.
