This policy was revised to clarify appeal hearing processes for faculty contesting
negative retention, tenure, and promotion decisions at the appropriate final level,
set forth the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the appeal processes,
and clarify the timelines. Guidance for communication and confidentiality have been
addressed in this revision as well.
