Orientation will introduce you to the tools and resources you need to successfully navigate UVU's campus environment.
Before you can register for classes you must complete online orientation.
*Some students may also have to meet with their advisor before they are able to register. If so, schedule an appointment with your advisor as soon as you are able. You do not have to complete orientation before meeting with your advisor.
Note: You will not be able to login to online orientation unless you are fully admitted and have a UVID and an account password already created.
To see your required enrollment tasks, login to my.uvu.edu and go to your student dashboard homepage.
Be sure to select the proper semester tab for the semester you will be starting classes.
To access online orientation, go to "My Task Checklist" and click "View All Tasks." Then click "Complete Online
Orientation."
You must fully complete the online orientation to receive credit.
This Jumpstart session is specifically tailored to Transfer, Veteran, and Adult Learner students. Although not required for students transferring 15+ credits, 21+ years of age, or enrolled in a fully online major, attending Jumpstart will help you fully connect to the people, tools and resources needed to successfully navigate UVU's campus environment.
If you are transferring 15 credits or more, your orientation hold will be removed immediately (if your hold has not been removed after completing Online Orientation, please contact our Orientation office for assistance).
If you are transferring less than 15 credits, and you are younger than 21 years of age, you must also attend Jumpstart Orientation.
Please contact our friendly orientation staff with any questions you may have about meeting your orientation requirement!
