The UVU Work Study program is a Veteran Affairs (VA) program that employs eligible students to work in the Military-Affiliated Student Hub. Work studies are VA employees but work on UVU campus to help students utilize their GI Bill® benefits.
Many of our work studies enjoy the opportunity because our office strives to be flexible and accommodate school schedules when possible. This program provides work studies an opportunity to network and interact with other veteran student work studies and military-connected people and learn how their own education benefit functions. Additional information is available on the VA Work Study web site.
Full-time or three-quarter time students in a college degree, vocational, or professional program who are using GI Bill® benefits are eligible for work study. You must also commit to working a minimum of 14 hours per week.
Hourly pay rate will be the greater of:
Work study contracts follow the start and end dates of each semester. If interested, please submit a work study application to [email protected].
