Each WIEP scholarship has its own eligibility requirements; some examples are enrollment, grade point average, and involvement with WIEP. To be eligible, complete internal UVU Scholarships application through Scholarship Universe. We also have need-based scholarships available and this is determined with the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.

Below are just a few general requirements of all our scholarships.
The Women of UVU President Scholarship is awarded to a student who has a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA, and enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits each semester. The recipient will serve as the Women of UVU President and represent the Women’s Intercultural Engagement Program; recipient cannot hold any other leadership position on UVU campus, must limit employment or extracurricular activities to 25 hours per week, and spend a maximum of 20 hours per week accomplishing President duties.
This partial tuition scholarship is for students who are selected to participate in the Women's Leadership Academy. Students must agree to enroll in the cohort, three-credit hour course for both the fall and spring semester, have a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA and enroll in a minimum of 12 credits per semester.
Financial Aid is available to assist students in staying up to date on their account information in addition to understanding any tuition-related holds. When available, their website will update with the deadlines for application requirements, appeals, and loan requests for each semester.

There are still other scholarships available! Refer back to the UVU General Application to view external opportunities that are still accepting applications. Additionally, as funding becomes available the UVU's Student Care Hub exists for students who need financial support for housing and food.

What does it mean to be involved with WIEP?
Involvement with the Women’s Intercultural Engagement Program includes participation in Women of UVU, Women’s Leadership Academy, WIEP programs, workshops, events, or the Wee Care Center.
