Empathy Schools are a network of non-profit, co-educational schools offering a blend of the Cambridge Assessment International Education System and the Mongolian National Core Curriculum. Established in 1994, they are among the pioneering private schools in Mongolia, with a strong emphasis on providing high-quality education through a dual curriculum approach. The network includes branches in Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan, Orkhon, and Bayan-Ulgii, making it one of the most prominent educational institutions in the country.

Empathy Schools have a track record of success in international academic competitions and high university placement rates. As of 2023, their graduates have been accepted into 465 prestigious international universities, earning significant scholarships.

They also offer extensive student support through college counseling and the Empathy Study Abroad Program (ESAP) to help students explore opportunities for international education.

Director Ganbat Batbuyan will present several lectures and visits related to education. The objectives of the visit are:

• Emphasizes academic exchange and cultural understanding, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful experience for the Director of Empathy Schools
• Create a foundation for formal collaboration between UVU and Empathy Schools through the development of Education Management Units (EMUs) and partnership agreements.
• Provide a platform for the Director to share insights on the Mongolian education system, while gaining exposure to the American higher education framework.
• Identify areas for potential research collaboration in curriculum development, technology integration, and teacher training.
• Discuss and design student and faculty exchange programs to promote cross-cultural learning and professional development.
