The Fourth International Women of the Mountains Conference brings awareness of sustainability
and gender issues for mountains communities globally. Mrs. Yankila Sherpa will be
participating in a panel session discussing Economic Issues of Women and Children.
She will be addressing the topic of, "Empowering Mountain Women for Sustainable Livelihood through Eco-tourism and Best Practices in the Environment."
