The annual Student Ethics Symposium features student scholarship from a variety of disciplines. This April event includes lectures, panel discussions, and reports on related undergraduate research projects.
The Center for the Study of Ethics is accepting proposals for the 2024 Student Ethics Symposium on Monday, April 7th, 2025. Our orienting theme this year is entitled “Living Our Ideals: Ethics and Participatory Democracy.” We invite proposals on a range of topics related to ethics in public life. This is an interdisciplinary symposium that invites proposals from a variety of academic disciplines.
Student's have the option to participate in different formats such as paper presentation, discussion facilitation, panel discussion, or poster presentation. Please indicate your desired format of participation in your application. Students only need an abstract of their project in order to apply, and have the option to work with the Center for the Study of Ethics to develop their ideas by the time of the Symposium.
