Student Ethics Symposium

The annual Student Ethics Symposium features student scholarship from a variety of disciplines. The symposium includes lectures, panel discussions, and reports on related undergraduate research projects. This year's theme is entitled “Living Our Ideals: Ethics and Participatory Democracy.”   The symposium will take place on April 7th, 2025 in Clarke Building room 511. Student work this year has explored this topic through the following questions: 

 What ethical principles should guide political debate?   

What forms of political resistance are effective or justified?

What does democracy ideally look like?
