Career and Financial Help

  • Leave of Absence (For Resident Students) - “Need a break?” You can take a leave of absence and just put things on hold till you come back.
  • TRIO Student Support Services (For Resident Students) - TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally-funded program designed to support and encourage degree-seeking students who need academic assistance. TRIO supports resident students who are first-generation, low-income, and/or students with a disability in accordance with federal guidelines.
  • Women's Success Center -The Women's Success Center provides support, leadership, coaching, and advocacy for students.
  • Careers - This is a collection of listed careers that UVU can help you prepare for.
  • Financial Aid (For Resident Students) - If you need help paying for school, you can find help at financial aid.
  • Career Development Center - Need help finding a job or starting on a career path, you can find all sorts of resources with the Career Development Center.
  • Internships - Help to find internships.
  • Food Insecurity - Food for those without the means to purchase it.
  • Housing - Help finding housing near campus.
  • Money Management Resource Center - Help managing your money.
  • International Student Employment Program - Great scholarships for international students.

Wellness and Getting Involved

  • Get Involved - Learn how to have fun, make friends, and participate in campus activities.
  • Clubs - Find people with similar interests, make friends, and having fun, clubs can help you find all of that.
  • Campus Recreation - UVU's guide to all of the recreational resources it has available. As a UVU student you have free access to the gym.
  • Wellness Programs - Your guide to the resources UVU has to help the students physically and mentally.
  • Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity - A safe place to learn about diversity and other issues through workshops and activities.
  • LEAD Program - A program to place you in leadership positions and have mentors to help you learn and grow.
  • The Office for Global Engagement - International opportunities for everyone.
  • Multicultural Student Services - Aid and support for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Center for Social Impact - A place where you can learn how to help others and be with others who share the same mission and desire for social impact.  This center will help you find and fulfill these goals.
  • Student Health Services - Help for any student who has a health emergency (Campus Police number - 5555)
  • Office of Accessibility Services - If you have any special physical, mental, academic or emotional needs, they can help.
  • Medical Services - A list of the clinic services that are available at a reduced cost to UVU students.  Many of the clinical services they offer are cheaper than a copay.  No insurance is required.
  • Dental Hygiene Clinic
  • Mental Health Services - UVU offers mental health services at a reduced cost for students. The cost of Individual therapy or couples therapy is only $10.00 for UVU students taking at least 9 credits.
  • Health Coaching - UVU has many wellness programs such as Nutrition Strategies, Tobacco Cessation, Stress Less, Keys to Happiness, Healthy Relationships, Sleep Session, Physical Fitness Programs, etc. at low to no cost for UVU students.
  • OMBUDS - The OMBUDS office helps with student conflict resolution. They can help with conflicts with roommates, landlords, and maintaining student rights on campus
