As Capitol Reef National Park looks toward the future, there are many elements that must be considered in order to grow sustainably, responsibly, and with respect to the area's history. For one, as Capitol Reef grows in popularity, we must educate a new kind of park visitor so they will have respect and reverence for this beautiful place--and also understand why and how it must be preserved. Not only is this an important mission of the national park, but it is also the mission of the UVU Field Station.
