When will the conference take place?

The 2024 Conference on Mental Health will be held on Thursday, October 3rd from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Where is the conference located?

The 2024 Conference on Mental Health will be held at Utah Valley University in the Sorenson Student Center. Participants should check in outside the Grande Ballroom, where the keynote sessions will be held.

Where do I park?

Parking for the conference will be in the UVU parking garage to the north of the Sorenson Student Center. The cost of parking is included in your ticket, so you will not need to pay.

When does the conference close?

The conference portal will be open for viewing of sessions and CEU surveys until Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Can I earn continuing education units through this conference?

Yes, you can earn CEUs. To earn credits, you need to complete an online survey after each session you attend. Each attended hour equals 1 CEU. We anticipate up to 18 total CEUs, with 6 available as live credits if the session is attended live (either virtually or in person). To receive live credits, the survey must be completed on the day of the conference.

When will I receive continuing education credits?

CEU emails will be sent to the email you registered with no later than Friday, December 13th. If you cannot find your CEU email, please check your spam folder, as they are often redirected. If you still cannot find them, please reach out to [email protected] for help.

Can I get an overview of the conference?

A: Announcing the 2024 UVU Conference on Mental Health, presented by the UVU College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Cambia Health, on October 3, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This transformative single-day event offers a dynamic hybrid format—virtual and live face-to-face — with dedicated tracks on Suicide Prevention, Addiction, Interpersonal Violence, and Depression & Anxiety. Attendees can choose between sessions or immerse in a single track. All sessions will be recorded and available for eight weeks post-event. The conference virtual access will close on November 30, at 5 p.m. You can earn CEUs, explore student poster presentations, and visit our sponsors and exhibitors. Join us to delve into crucial mental health issues impacting individuals, families, and communities.

Will food be provided at the conference?

Yes, food will be available at the conference. In the morning, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water will be provided. For lunch, each participant will receive a $12 food voucher to be used on campus. Below is a list of available eateries:
