Academic Advising is one of the most important services the university offers to help students navigate the college experience. Academic Advising is a shared responsibility between the student and advisor.
The College of Health and Public Service includes programs in Dental Hygiene, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Respiratory Therapy, Criminal Justice, Emergency Services, Forensic Science, and National Security Studies. Our academic advisors see students based on their major and last name. The advisors are located in different buildings, both on and off main campus. When scheduling an appointment, please note the address and location of the advisor's building.
Our advisors are committed to helping all students throughout their education journey by holding to our mission and vision, while implementing our shared Advising Values.
MISSION - CHPS academic advisors empower students to thrive by providing innovative resources, compassionate support, and expansive opportunities.
VISION - Changing the trajectory of students' lives so they can thrive and serve in their community.
CHPS Advising Values - Creative, Compassionate, Transparent, Authentic, Collaborative, Fun and Positive
Please send me an email if you have any questions regarding your advising experience.
