Before You Begin: Required Preparation Steps
- Secure an internship opportunity.
- For general assistance, contact the College of Engineering & Technology Internship

- Depending on your major, also consult your program coordinator:

- Complete the Internship Orientation.
- Important: Save your completion code (displayed on-screen and emailed to you). You'll need it
for the application.
- Prepare the following information (required for the application form):
- Name and address of the internship provider/company
- Internship site supervisor's name, email, and phone number (this is the person who
will mentor you on-site)
- Average number of hours you will work per week
- Submit your application using the button below.
- The form (hosted on Qualtrics) takes about 15–20 minutes if you have your information
ready.
- After submission, allow 1–2 weeks for review. You'll receive approval and registration instructions (including CRN)
by email.
Internship Guidelines for College of Engineering & Technology
- Prerequisites: Check the CET Prerequisites Page to confirm you have completed all required courses before applying.
- Registration & Hours:
- You must be approved and officially enrolled in the internship course before starting
or counting any hours.
- No retroactive credit will be awarded for work completed prior to approval and enrollment.
- Tuition: Like other UVU courses, tuition is charged for internship credits.
- Registration Process: After receiving application approval by email (including CRN), register for the
course. You may then access the internship course in Canvas.
