General Information

The State of Utah prohibits universities from giving allocated funds to non-citizens. They can however, receive funds from third parties and privately funded money.

Eligibility

The Career & Internship Center offers unpaid internship scholarships each semester to students receiving credit for their internship. Students who have received an internship scholarship in a past semester may apply for an internship scholarship different from the one received if they are completing a different internship.

Awards & Distributions

Recipients are awarded funds based on their internship scholarship proposal, internship applicability to major, academic progress, and career focus. Final determinations will not be made until the deadline for the scholarship has passed.  Please do not contact us regarding the status of your scholarship. If awarded an Internship Scholarship, your funds will first be applied to any outstanding tuition and fee balances you have on your UVU account. If you have a student loan, the award will go towards paying back a portion of the loan and you will not see the scholarship refund.
