Photo Guidelines

When submitting your photo for the UVU ID Card, please be aware:

Photos must have a white background or a professional photo with a plain background.
No hats, sunglasses, props, or pets in the photo. Only the individual is allowed.
Please face forward, photo should be cropped with a little space above the head and to the sides to the chest.
Photo must be in color.
Photos should not be altered to change background or anything else.

Any photos that do not meet the submission requirements will be denied and you will have to submit another photo.

Note: This photo will be used on your ID card and in various campus systems for UVU Identification.

Once you have submitted your photo, the next upload must be your identification, such as driver's license, state ID, US passport, or US VISA. Please select Acceptable Forms of ID below for addtional accepted forms.

Photo Examples

Your photo should:

Be a color photo.
Be taken against a plain white background.
Cropped slightly above your head to the middle of your chest.
Include you facing the camera directly with your eyes open and looking at the camera.
