We provide pre-adoption support, business process analysis, and implementation project management for academic and operational technology within Digital Transformation.
If you are seeking to adopt technology hardware, software, system subscription, etc. whether through a purchase, partnership, or a “free” offer to the university or yourself, that will be used for university business, you must have your request reviewed and approved by the IT Oversight Committee. If the technology is related to teaching, learning, or you are a part of a department that reports to a college/school, or Academic Affairs, you must first have approval for purchase from ATSC.
If you are not sure whether IT support or this approval is required, please enter a SOFTWARE REQUEST so that we can help assess that before you proceed with a purchase or adoption. We wish to save you time and effort and to ensure you have the appropriate IT resources to implement and support whatever is needed in your area. Please note that purchases of course materials that include technology are done under an approved process through the university bookstore, and in collaboration with our office. Please contact your ATSC Governance representative if you have any questions about how to proceed with requests.
You will be required to provide the following information and documentation from technology vendors, so that they can be reviewed by our Accessibility Office, before any recommendation for adoption can be made:
We can assist with the assessment of your current business process, product research, data validation and integration, and implementation project management. Please contact us if you would like to explore process improvement or technology adoption.
