betting pool for Dx building move-in date
Since the latest word from Megan Densley is that there is no updated date for the
division to move to the new Dx building, we are starting a betting pool to see if
we can predict when this will happen.
Rules:
- The date of the bet is for the predicted IR move-in date (not other departments)
- The person who is closest to the date without going over wins.
- All bets must be made by the end of this week (December 9). (New hires have one week from their start date to add their bets.)
The current bets are (all for 2023):

COVID-19 Info Resources for Staff
According to the CDC, Utah County is at a low level of COVID transmission.
- If you are athigh risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions
- Stayup to datewith COVID-19 vaccines
- Get testedif you have symptoms
- COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged but no longer required to attend UVU. Vaccinations are available through the Utah County Health Department and traditional providers.
- If you are feeling unwell, please avoid coming to campus. We want to keep our campus community healthy.
- Free COVID-19 at-home test kits are available at Student Health Services, Human Resources, and Campus Connection. These are distribution-only sites, and there will not be anyone available to answer COVID-related questions. You can find answers on the CDC website or by contacting your healthcare provider.
We no longer track COVID-19 cases on campus or provide vaccination, but vaccines are available through your healthcare provider, a variety of pharmacies, and the Utah County Health Department.

Dx Half-time
Every Wednesday at 11:45 is the Dx Half-Time meeting. You can access the meeting in the Dx Community Team (in Microsoft Teams) in the Half-Time channel. This meeting is only 15 minutes long, and everyone in Dx is invited.

On Wednesdays, the conference room will be open from 12:00-1:00 pm for all those who want to play board games on their lunch break.

greenbucks conversion to cash
Thanks to Mark for sharing this tip!
There is a way to convert the $100 Greenbucks gift we just received into cash, although UVU charges a $5 fee to do so.
The steps are:
- Check your Greenbucks balance at: https://onecard.uvu.edu/ (it just uses your UVID and password). When I checked, I even had some money from a prior year, so I was able to get more than the $100.
- Go to: https://www.uvu.edu/campusconnection/forms/index.html.
- Choose the option of: GreenBucks Employee Gift Withdrawal.
- Fill out the form (you might check your UVID to ensure that your name is the same as it was entered on the card).
- It does state that a $5 fee is charged; I requested the full amount, and I assume they will take it out of that when they direct deposit the money.
