information items
phone transition to teams calling
Our department is scheduled to move to Teams calling soon. Nothing needs to be done for this change, IT will do everything. You will still be able to call out from the regular phones, but all incoming calls will be routed through Teams.
The bluetooth headsets that were handed out will replace all phones, and Network & TeleComm will remove all physical phones within the next six months. Headsets are the property of UVU and must be turned in when you leave IR.
HR Supervisor Review
The 2021 Supervisor Review process allows employees to provide anonymous feedback to first and second-level supervisors in the new UVUPM system. If your assigned supervisors do not appear correctly in the system, contact HR.
Upcoming conferences - RMAIR and Tableau
The 2021 RMAIR conference will be October 12, 19, and 26 (three Tuesdays). It is $60 per person and will be online only. Talk to your supervisor if you would like to attend.
The 2021 Tableau conference is free and will be held virtually from November 9-11. If you are interested in attending, talk to your supervisor.

State Fair
Leisa's daughter Annie showed two ewe lambs at the State Fair (one was a fall lamb and the other was a winter lamb) for her 4H club. Each of the ewes won first place in Breeding, they won second place for best pair of sheep, and Annie won third place in Showmanship.
While Annie was showing sheep, her little brother and nephew were captured by the Young Guns gang and temporarily put in a holding cell, and her older sister tried unsuccessfully to walk through Platform 9 ¾ to Hogwarts.
