Why Volunteer With Us?

Volunteering at the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing personally and professionally. Whether you’re looking for short-term opportunities or a long-term commitment, we have options that fit your schedule. Before the event, you can help us get things ready to be brought over or assist with setting up the event. During the event, this is when the main action is taking place, and we need support. Finally, at the end, you can help with takedown and ensuring everything is wrapped up smoothly.

Volunteer Opportunities

Prep, Set Up, Event, and Take Down are the main areas we have; however, we may have more opportunities outside of these. Here's how you can get involved:

  • Prep: Assist in preparing materials and getting everything ready to be transported to the event location.
  • Set Up: Help arrange tables, decorations, and equipment at the event venue before it begins.
  • Event: Manage activities, guide attendees, and ensure everything runs smoothly during the event.
  • Take Down: Support packing materials, dismantling setups, and ensuring the venue is left in great condition.
