Laura is the advisor for online students in CHPS. Last month she worked tirelessly in advocating for PHIL 1250, a QL substitution course for students with a math disability, to offer an online option. Her efforts resulted in PHIL 1250 now being available online in Spring 2025. In addition, she worked with a student whose residency status was changed from a Utah resident to non- resident, tripling the student’s tuition. Laura brought this issue to the registrar and admissions office to get the situation resolved, which resulted in the student receiving a sizeable refund. We are grateful for the unwavering care and compassion Laura consistently provides to her students.
