We honor individuals making significant contributions within their advising and counseling positions at UVU. Winners will be formally recognized at the upcoming 2024 Annual UVU Advisement Conference.
For individuals who have been employed as an academic advisor or academic counselor in any of the academic colleges/schools or the First-Year Advising Center for at least four years by the submission deadline.
For individuals who have been employed as an academic advisor or academic counselor in any of the academic colleges/schools or the First-Year Advising Center for fewer than four years by the submission deadline.
For full-time UVU employees in any division of the university who have a student advising or counseling related function for at least one year.
For full-time and part-time UVU employees with at least one or more years experience as an advising administrator, supervisor or similar position. Student employees are not eligible.
The Office of University Advising recognizes those in the UVU community whose actions demonstrate commitment, advocacy, and actions in support of the UVU advising program. Those recognized with this honor are selected by the Office of University Advising and institutional academic advising leadership.
This award does not require a formal nomination but suggestions are welcome.
