We honor individuals making significant contributions within their advising and counseling positions at UVU. Winners will be formally recognized at the upcoming 2024 Annual UVU Advisement Conference.
For individuals who have been employed as an academic advisor or academic counselor in any of the academic colleges/schools, the First-Year Advising Center, or Concurrent Enrollment for at least three years by the submission deadline.
For individuals who have been employed as an academic advisor or academic counselor in any of the academic colleges/schools, the First-Year Advising Center, or Concurrent Enrollment for fewer than three years by the submission deadline.
For full-time and part-time UVU employees in any division of the university who have a student advising or counseling related function for at least one year. Student employees are not eligible.
For full-time and part-time UVU employees with at least one year of experience as an advising administrator, supervisor or similar position. Student employees are not eligible.
The Office of University Advising recognizes those in the UVU community whose actions demonstrate commitment, advocacy, and actions in support of the UVU advising program. Those recognized with this honor are selected by the Office of University Advising and institutional academic advising leadership.
This award does not require a formal nomination but suggestions are welcome.
