Accessible Audio/Video (including Captioning)

The Office of Teaching and Learning provides assistance for faculty requesting closed captioning for any video or audio used in their Canvas course materials.  Please contact OTL Support Services to request this service.

To have captions/subtitles added to videos for a  student in your class who has accommodations through the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS), please contact Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services at [email protected]. In your email, please include the video file or link (YouTube, etc.) OR a way to access your hard copy of the video (original video will be returned to you unaltered). Also include the name of the student receiving the accommodation through OAS, as well as the approximate date you plan to use the video. Processing may take up to a week, so please submit videos as soon as possible.
