Kelsi Brydson is a basketball enthusiast, an Etsy shop owner, UVU alumni, a business-minded digital marketer, and part of the Woodbury School of Business.

The idea of more school after high school was hard for Brydson to accept. She was not sure that is what she wanted to do. However, Brydson knew about Utah Valley University (UVU) from her older brother and she decided it was close enough to home she could try out college and see how it went from there.

Having no idea what she really wanted to do, Brydson started her first semester pursuing a business transfer degree. She loved it so much Brydson knew the UVU business school was her home from that time forward.

Growing up Brydson was obsessed with social media trends. She loved analyzing what was happening online and wanted to learn everything there was to know about every new social media channel. The Digital Marketing program at the UVU business school was a perfect fit for Brydson’s social media heart. She loved being able to help other businesses and people reach their goals through marketing.

The American Marketing Association (AMA) program inspired Brydson and enhanced her college experience. She was introduced to AMA through professor Paige Gardiner who encouraged her to join. Brydson expressed that watching Paige, an already very intelligent woman, continue to further her education by receiving her PhD in the field Brydson was interested in made her want to be a forever lifelong learner. Whether it be continued formal education or challenging herself to learn new skills, Brydson is always open and willing to further her mind and abilities.

In 2018, Brydson graduated with a Digital Marketing degree from UVU and now works as a digital engagement specialist in paid media for an online university. Brydson is currently furthering her education by learning how to play soccer and speak Swahili. She enjoys hiking and going to the gym to box or play basketball. Brydson enjoys being creative through sewing, crafting, or cooking, and hopes to always find channels of which she can expand her innovative heart. Brydson is Woodbury.
