The Woodbury School of Business is pleased to announce the SMARTLab's distinction as Best-in-State for the seventh year running.
The Best of State Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah for their excellence and success in their many endeavors. On May 24, 2023, the UVU SMARTLab won its 7th straight Best of State Award for "Best Analytical" lab, beating out 11 other nominations. The SMARTLab is also a previous winner of the prestigious B.O.S.S. Award for Science and Technology.
Speaking of the award, SMARTLab Director Dale Jolley said: "We are very pleased to be recognized for the cutting-edge marketing research that the SMARTLab performs on behalf of community businesses, students, and faculty. This award is one more testament to the quality and impact of the research being done at the SMARTLab by our student Customer Experience Researchers."
Beyond state recognition, the SMARTLab provides real-world experience for students as more than 60 studies conducted each year at the SMARTLab for students and companies. The lab is open to the public, and each year over 1,700 students and working professionals participate in tours and studies at the SMARTLab.
