Beam signing ceremony held for Keller and Gateway Buildings

On September 11, 2020, donors and other stakeholders were invited to campus to sign the final beam of the Scott C. Keller and Gateway Buildings. Those in attendance went on a walkthrough tour of the Keller and Gateway Buildings to see the current progress.

“I know it just looks like another steel beam,” said Jacob Sybrowsky, WSB associate dean, “but to most of us it holds special significance. It has been almost five years since we started planning for the Keller and Gateway Buildings. The final beam represents the completion of the superstructure and a major step forward in the process.

Seeing some of the many who have made this possible leave a lasting impression on the building was inspirational. We are most grateful to our donors, National Advisory Board, the State Legislature and Governor’s Office, UVU administration, construction workers, design and architectural teams, as well as our faculty, students, and staff for bringing us to this point. To those who were able to join us, we thank you and look forward to celebrating with everyone when the Keller and Gateway Buildings open next year!”
