Stan Parrish

Stan has been the president and CEO of Midwest Floor Covering, Inc., chairman and CEO of Amerad Inc., chief of staff to United States Senator Orrin G. Hatch, executive director in the State of Utah’s Department of Community and Economic Development, president of The PPI Group, president of Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, president and CEO of Waterware Inc., owner of Mighty Distributing System, owner of Parandco, and president and CEO of the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce.   

In addition to his rich experience, Stan has been the recipient of a number of prestigious awards honoring him for his service and work ethic. These awards include an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters from Salt Lake Community College, the Titan Award for Business Excellence from the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Emeritus Merit of Honor Award from the University of Utah.  

Stan’s past business and community affiliations include chairman of the U.S. Interagency Task Force on Trade, chairman of Utah Air Travel Commission, commissioner of the Utah Division of Travel Development, assistant to the president of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, executive committee of the Great Salt Lake Council, chairman of the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, and board of trustees for Salt Lake Community College. 

Playing a major role in the community, Stan serves on several boards including: the Utah Opera Company; the Chairman American Heart Association, Utah Chapter; “This Is the Place” State Park Foundation; the Salt Lake Olympic committee; Total Home Care, Inc.; Associates Capital Bank; and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
