Rebecca Stowers

Rebecca Stowers brings more than 17 years of professional experience in business development and grant writing.  Rebecca has helped numerous small organizations establish foundational relationships and capture large grants to help grow their organization’s business and public profile. Prior to joining the Center for Growth and Opportunity, Rebecca was director of development at Strata, a non-profit focused on policy research and talent development. 

She also has experience in the aerospace industry, having worked at Strategic Space Development as business development manager, where she wrote business development training materials, aerospace proposals, and marketing materials. Rebecca began her professional career at the Space Dynamics Lab as a technical writer. As an independent contractor, Rebecca has written numerous successful proposals in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. 

Originally from Cache Valley, Rebecca recently returned with her husband and four children after living in Alexandria, Virginia for 12 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in technical writing and communications at Utah State University.
